Premium creative for a distinctive South African collaboration.
When two established brands come together, the visual direction needs to feel considered rather than simply combined. This project created a shared identity that respected both brands while giving the collaboration a distinctive presence of its own.
The Challenge
Nounouche and Black Rose Gin each brought a distinct visual personality to the collaboration. The challenge was to bring those identities together in a way that felt intentional, premium and cohesive rather than simply placing two brands side by side.
Within South Africa’s premium gin category, visual presentation plays an important role in how a product is perceived. The creative needed to feel elevated enough to support the positioning of both brands while still feeling fresh and relevant to the collaboration.
The Solution
The campaign creative was developed as a new visual territory informed by both brands but not dominated by either one.
Dark backgrounds, refined typography and carefully balanced graphic elements created a premium mood without relying on clutter or predictable luxury cues.
The compositions were designed to give the product imagery room to lead, while the typography and supporting details created a clear connection between the two brands.
The Result
- A distinctive visual identity created specifically for the collaboration.
- Premium positioning established without losing the personality of either brand.
- A flexible creative direction suitable for use across social media and campaign assets.
The final direction feels like a genuine meeting point between the two brands rather than one identity being placed on top of another.
Project Visuals
The campaign system was carried across a series of coordinated digital assets, allowing the collaboration to feel consistent while still giving each composition its own character.
